Protect your PC from Spyware

This morning, we talked about other people spying on your computer by attaching a picture to an e-mail and installing “spyware” on your computer that will give them access to your every move. Pepe, an IT professional called in to help us.
Here’s how you can protect your computer against remote access:
Go to Start Menu>Settings>Control Panel. In the Control Panel, open “Settings.” Click on the tab labeled “Remote.” Make sure that all remote access options under the Remote tab are UNchecked. This will protect your computer from being accessed remotely.
